Illuminate my soul

Everywhere is aglow with Diwali’s radiant light,

Yet my spirit feels dim, lost in the festive night.

Amid the laughter, I struggle to find my place,

As a hundred voices ask, but none see my face.

In this crowd of joy, I wear a fragile mask,

Hiding the sorrow that no one dares to ask.

Losing the one who understood my pain,

Leaves a haunting ache that lingers like rain.

Did you leave, knowing the weight of what you took?

Did you ponder the chapters left unread in our book?

Why confess your truths if you couldn’t bear the strain?

Now I wander alone, drenched in unspoken pain.

Yet still, I search for dawn beyond this endless night,

A flicker of connection, a spark to reignite.

For even in silence, hope whispers near,

That somewhere in the shadows, understanding will appear.
